Eurolarge Innovation manager at Bretagne Développement Innovation
With 28 years of experience as head of marketing, communication and business development in start-ups and SMEs in the nautical industry, Carole Bourlon is manager of Eurolarge Innovation a program supported by the Britanny region, dedicated to the competitive sailing sector.
In her current role, she contributes to the development of economic players of the competitive sailing industry, in a costal territory called Bretagne Sailing Valley®: networking with institutions and research centers around meetings and technical days, support for the setting up of innovative projects and to diversification or internationalization.
From boat design to welcoming the best sailors and organizing great races, Bretagne Sailing Valley® is a center of excellence, notably in R&D, offering a range of unique know-how and cutting-edge embedded technologies, recognized across the industries, including yachting, aeronautics and marine renewables. Composed of an ecosystem of more than 160 industrial and service companies, more than 200 skippers and race teams, race organizers, research laboratories and ocean training center, the Bretagne Sailing Valley® is a tremendously attractive place for all the competitive sailing value chain.
As part of her responsibility, Carole and dedicated team at Bretagne Développement Innovation, are in charge of organizing the host of the 11th Yacht Racing Forum, in Lorient.
