Olivier de Roffignac
Olivier de Roffignac is a passionate sailor born on the French Atlantic coast. He started his career as a sailing instructor, then became professional skipper and graduated from naval architect school.
He is also a single hand offshore skipper, before the age of 30 he participated twice to the Mini-Transat and took part of several races as la Solitaire le Figaro and the Transat AG2R.
Olivier is currently managing director of Pantaenius Monaco. The Pantaenius group, Europe leading specialist for yacht insurance and leader of the racing yachts market, insures more than 100.000 boats from dinghies to super yachts since 50 years with more than 35 000 specialists in its network to support and take care of customers all over the world.

With Pantaenius, Olivier assisted in the rescue and salvage of more than 50 racing boats (as 6.50, Class 40, Imoca, Multi 50, Mod 70, Ultim…) and he’s still improving and looking for new solutions in order to protect skippers, crew members and their yachts.
