Young and talented racer from Morbihan, World Champion in Nacra 15 of the Youth Sailing World Championship in 2016

Tim Mourniac

At only 20 years old, Tim does not have to blush on his record! This young man from Morbihan has whom to hold. Coming from a family of sailors, the sea is regularly at the heart of discussions around the table. It is at school that Tim takes his first steps by boat. A passion is born. At 7, he decided to register with ASN Quiberon in Morbihan, his heart sailing club, he never left.

His beginnings in the regatta are promising. Quiet on land, he is no longer the same person once on the water. His competitive spirit opens the doors of the Optimist France team. A few years later, he stands out thanks to a 5th place in the World Championship of F18 and a title of young French champion in Kitesurf wave.

In 2016, he won the title of world champion in Nacra 15 in Auckland (New Zealand) and in 2017 the title of best young crew of the Tour de France à la Voile! In parallel, Tim goes to the discovery of new sensations on flying boats. He sails among others on Flying Phantom, Moth International or Nacra 17 with foil.

In 2018, he joined the Diam 24 crew “Lorina Limonade Golfe du Morbihan”, winning the Spi Ouest France and the Tour de France at La Voile. In parallel, Tim is a student in Political Science in Paris.
