The selection process for the host city of the 2023 Yacht Racing Forum is well underway and the selected city will be announced before spring. Depending on the venue selected, the event will take place right before – or right after METS, on November 9-10 or 21-22.
The Yacht Racing Forum Advisory Board, consisting of event manager Bernard Schopfer, Shirley Robertson, Luca Rizzotti, Andy Rice and Matthew Sheahan, has helped prepare the draft programme that will be posted online before the end of the month.
Your opinion is also welcome: feel free to share your views and express your wishes in terms of presentations, topics to be addressed, speakers to be included, etc.
Our goal going forward is to expand the spectrum of the YRF and attract more mainstream brands while keeping our privileged relationship with high end events such as the America’s Cup, SailGP or IMOCA. The 2023 edition of the event will also focus on inclusion and sustainability, and highlight the importance of private owners for the development of the sport.
The Design & Technology Symposium will remain an important feature of the event, highlighting the latest developments and innovations in the sport.
