Ian Walker

Ian has valuable experience across a wide range of sailing, from winning two Olympic silver medals, skippering an America’s Cup team, and winning the Volvo Ocean Race. His previous role with the RYA as Racing Manager supported development from grass roots to the British Sailing Team’s success at Tokyo 2020. Now at North Sails, Ian leads a talented team of sailmakers and is closer than ever to our sport. With North he has a close eye on every sector of sailing whilst continuing to race in Grand Prix and Maxi classes.
