Keith Williams
Keith Williams led the project team delivering Capgemini’s engineering solution to reveal a new dimension of the race by making the wind visible into the Louis Vuitton 37th America’s Cup.
Keith has 34 years’ experience in the engineering & technology industry. He provides Technical and Engineering leadership for Capgemini Engineering, with accountability for Research & Innovation, Strategic Investment and Technical Authority. This technical leadership spans twelve engineering disciplines, ten industries and twenty-two countries.
Keith began his career working on the Channel Tunnel Project, and has held a wide range of engineering, business and leadership roles including Managing Director of several specialist engineering firms. Keith has led engineering consultancy engagements in areas as diverse as aircraft product strategy, enterprise-wide safety governance and 5G communications strategy. He has provided engineering leadership on projects including Missile Management Systems, Electric Trucks and Air Traffic Control Systems.
He is Chartered Engineer, a Freeman and Liveryman of the City of London, a Fellow of several engineering organisations including the British Computer Society, Institute of Engineering and Technology and the Safety and Reliability Society.
