Cécile Andrieu is the Co-Director of MerConcept, where she shares the leadership of the company with François Gabart. In this role, she steers the strategic direction of one of the most innovative hubs in offshore racing and maritime sustainability, combining sporting excellence with pioneering work in ocean-related technologies.
She previously served as Director of the Racing Department at MerConcept and Team Manager of the trimaran SVR-Lazartigue, where she coordinated both the technical and human aspects of one of the world’s most advanced multihulls. Her ability to manage complex teams, balance technical demands, and foster a collaborative culture made her a key figure in elite multihull racing.
Cécile’s leadership skills were honed during her seven years at Business France, where she was Chief of Staff to Pascal Cagni, Ambassador for International Investments, and held senior roles in business development for the tech, energy, and smart city sectors.
With a background spanning offshore racing, diplomacy, and business development, Cécile is a transformative leader committed to advancing diversity and inclusion through initiatives such as UpWind by MerConcept. She also sailed the Mini Transat 2021, bringing her own offshore racing experience into her leadership journey.
