Dirk Ramhorst

Dirk Ramhorst has served since 2015 as Sport Director and Regatta Chairman of Kieler Woche, one of the world’s largest sailing events, where he oversees the strategic and operational direction of the regatta.
Previously, Dirk was Vice President for Olympic Sailing on the Board of the German Sailing Federation (DSV) and played a pivotal role as Managing Director of Kiel’s Olympic Application Campaign, advancing Germany’s bid to host Olympic sailing competitions.
In his professional career beyond sailing, Dirk is a Senior Advisor for Digital and AI Transformation.
