Kate Cope

Kate Cope is Director of the UK Doublehanded Series, an initiative to bring the UK Doublehanded community together for competitive racing and training. Formed in 2021, together with Henry Bomby , the series was provides a stronger voice for doublehanded sailing and provides a pathway for new talent to join this fast growing discipline.

Kate spent 30yrs in R&D with P&G. She is part of the Magenta Project and Vice-Captain of the Junior Offshore group.

Kate races her own Sunfast 3200R2 Offshore Doublehanded and particularly enjoys longer races such as Fastnet and AZAB. She will be part of the first all female doublehanded team to race RORC Transatlantic in Jan 2023.
